An "artotheque" is a gallery of loan of works of art contemporary, which function like a library or a discotheque. It is a municipal service which few cities offer today, which makes all its originality of it. The funds of the "artotheque" consists of works bought on the initiative of the city, as well as the works deposited by artists. The artothèque introduces also local artists within the framework of exposures which it organizes regularly.

WHICH ARE WORKS PROPOSED ?

The artothèque places mainly at the disposal of the members prints (etchings, aquatintes, black manners, lithographies…), of the watercolours, of oils and the photographs. You will find works contemporary, figurative and abstract.

HOW TO ADEHRE ?

It is enough for you to discharge an annual contribution of 35 Euros for Saint-Mauriens (on presentation of a tax of imposition on the commune) and of 70 Euros for non Saint-Mauriens. A reduction of 25% is granted to the card holders “R.E.L.A.I. Villages”. It is possible to borrow two works for one duration maximum two months. The artothèque regularly accomodates exposures presenting of the local artists.

SCHEDULES Of OPENING

The artothèque is open the every day of 14 H to 6 p.m., except Sunday. It is closed in August and Christmas and the New Year's Day.
